Refunds for tuition and fees will be issued by check and mailed to the address on file. Refunds will be made via ACH for students that sign up for Direct Deposit/ACH payments.
Students are encouraged to take advantage of receiving their tuition refunds, financial aid overages, and student payroll as Direct Deposit versus a check in the mail ("paper warrant").
You will need your bank routing number and account number. You can find this information on the bottom of your check or your savings deposit slip.
Financial aid disbursements and student payroll funds can be distributed via direct deposit.
Credit Card Payments Made Online
A credit card refund will be issued upon request if there is a credit balance on the student's account. To allow for dropping and adding courses most refunds will be processed within 10 days after the last day to drop. Please send a refund request from your My.Normandale.edu email account to the Payments and Billing Office email box (PaymentBilling@normandale.edu) if you want a refund prior to the start of the term. Please include your student ID with your request.
Credit Card Payments Made at the College
A refund will be issued to the student by check unless the original credit card is brought to the Payments and Billing Office and a credit card refund is requested, or the student has signed up for Direct Deposit/ACH payments. All refund requests must be made within 24 hours after the drop is completed. Credit card information is not kept on file at Normandale Community College and we are not able to automatically refund a credit card.
If you would like an automatic credit card refund please pay your account balance online through eServices.
