The fall application for students outside of the U.S. is now closed. We will begin reviewing applications for Spring 2025 on July 1, 2024.

Students inside of the U.S. must apply by July 1 to be reviewed for Fall 2024. Fall term begins August 26, 2024.

When you submit your application to Normandale, you’ll need to declare yourself as either degree seeking or non-degree seeking at the time you apply for admission.

Degree seeking students have a goal of earning a certificate or two-year degree, or transferring credits to another college or university.

If you’re uncertain about your interest in using your accumulated credits toward a possible certificate, degree or transfer, it’s best to declare yourself as a degree seeking student when you apply.

Non-degree seeking students take a limited number of courses for personal or professional enrichment, and don’t intend to build credits toward a certificate or degree.

If you apply as non-degree seeking, you:

• Are not eligible for financial aid through Normandale Community College
• Must meet all pre-requisites and placement levels required for course registration
• Must submit transcripts for review to meet pre-requisites
