Our goal at Normandale is to make a college education achievable for all students. The Normandale Community College Foundation provides financial support for students, programs, and services to help this become a reality.
We strive to make sure every Normandale student has sufficient food, safe housing, and other necessities. Normandale Scholarships help ease the financial burden. Specialized programs address barriers such as hunger, racial and class inequities. Emergency funds help students stay in school and get needed supplies.
When students have peace of mind, they are better able to focus on their studies. This allows them to take full advantage of the exceptional education we offer. It also means they're less likely to drop out.
In addition to raising funds for a wide range of scholarships, the Normandale Community College Foundation is currently focusing efforts on the following:
Achieving these will require a substantial increase in contributed revenue and the number of donors and volunteers who join our cause. A foundation for community colleges often focuses only on scholarships, which to be sure is very important. But with your support, we’ll go well beyond that.
Giving to the Normandale Community College Foundation provides the resources necessary to take care of the next generation. Students later return the favor as they become productive members of our communities.
We honor those who supported Normandale: In Memoriam

The Normandale Foundation accepts donations on behalf of the college. A well-planned gift can help you achieve your financial and charitable objectives. We invite gifts of cash, securities, insurance and/or property.
Each year, the Normandale Foundation awards hundreds of scholarships that help students pay for their tuition and fees. Here you can access the Scholarship Portal and see additional external scholarship and aid opportunities.
A collaboration of businesses in the neighboring community with the goal of fostering a welcoming campus for all students who are ready to create a new future.
Philanthropy is a powerful tool to achieve Normandale's goals. It connects our campus to the greater community. We need donors and volunteers to join our cause. Your generosity fuels the work of creating futures and inspires us to dream even bigger.
NCC Foundation grants help fund Normandale's food shelf, the Campus Cupboard. Over 500 meals/week have been given out. Partnership with a local non-profit food relief organization has helped expand the offerings.
There's a reason we've chosen the phrase "Creating Futures" for our annual reports and Foundation events. An investment in students is truly an investment in our collective future.
