If it’s been a while since you’ve been on campus, or even if you’re attending for the first time, taking college classes as an adult has its own special challenges.
Learning environments and expectations have changed – but Normandale has the degree options, flexible scheduling and personalized planning you need to be prepared and be successful. You can choose among hundreds of community college classes for adults.
The biggest changes returning students will see are remote and hybrid courses. While you can still take traditional classes on campus, you’ll also find courses that are fully online or a combination of both.
Normandale offers the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum, a guaranteed set of general education credits that transfer to the University Minnesota system, Minnesota State Colleges and Universities and many Minnesota private colleges.
Academic planning. Tutoring. Career Services. Counseling. The experts at Normandale are ready to help non-traditional students.
Normandale offers non-credit courses that can help you achieve your goals, whether you want to advance your career or enrich your personal life.

Returning students can use the same StarID instructions they were assigned when they first attended Normandale. It provides access to online apps, including eServices, D2L (the learning management system), and campus email. You can look up or activate your account and reset your password online.
Your TechID is an 8-digit number on your Student ID card. If you no longer have it, just request an unofficial transcript, and your TechID will be in the top right corner.
Everything you need for managing the logistics of your college life is available in our eServices app. This is where you’ll register for classes, update your records, pay your tuition, and manage your financial aid.
Speaking of updating your records:
