Through our entry and intermediate-level Sociology courses, you will build a solid foundation of critical-thinking, problem-solving, writing and research skills. These classes are taught by accomplished faculty with a broad range of sociological interests and specialty areas.
Upon earning your associate degree in Sociology, you will be able to transfer as a junior to one of seven Minnesota State colleges to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Sociology.

This scholarship was established through the generosity of the Normandale Community College Social Science faculty to provide financial support for students who are pursuing a degree in Sociology and/or Women's Studies. Recipients of this award should demonstrate commitment to community service and/or social justice.
