You’ll learn how families can build on their strengths to be sustainable and self-sufficient. Plus, you’ll explore how healthy family functioning can help prevent problems before they occur. Most Family Studies courses are offered online.

Sociology and Women's Studies Scholarship

This scholarship was established through the generosity of the Normandale Community College Social Science faculty to provide financial support for students who are pursuing a degree in Sociology and/or Women's Studies. Recipients of this award should demonstrate commitment to community service and/or social justice.

Eligibility Criteria:

Minimum completion of 12 credits
Minimum GPA of 3.2
Pursuing a degree in Sociology and/or Women's Studies
Demonstrates commitment to community service or social justice
