In this select program, students will be highly mentored by faculty in a variety of settings, from one-on-one coaching to a workshop-based classroom environment. You’ll take great classes, such as:
The curriculum has been specifically designed so that students completing this Pathway Theatre degree can transfer to one of the seven Minnesota State universities and enter as a junior.
You’ll prepare for a career as a stage artist, and build skills in auditioning, acting, voice, movement, directing and analysis as well as having multiple roles in fully produced productions. Upon completion of the theatre degree, you’ll be prepared to either begin auditioning professionally or transfer into a BA or BFA theatre performance program for further training.
We offer a Theatre Production and Design AFA degree where students can prepare for a career behind the scenes in theatre production and design.
In this hands-on theatre program, students build skills in scenic, costume and lighting technology as well as design and rendering. Students have opportunities to work both backstage and as a technician creating multiple fully produced productions.
