Normandale students can apply for a $2,000 chemistry scholarship each spring for fall classes. The scholarship is an award for tuition for Chem 1061, Chem 1062 or Chem 2061 or Chem 2062. To apply, you must:

• Have completed at least 12 credits at Normandale.
• Be enrolled when you apply or have completed at least Chem 1020 or Chem 1061 by the end of the spring semester while maintaining a B or better progress in the course, and
• Be enrolled for the fall semester for Chem 1061, Chem 1062 or Chem 2061 or Chem 2062.

Students also are eligible for the Don Reznicek Endowed Chemistry Scholarship, which is an additional award to one outstanding student.

Preference is given to students pursuing a degree in chemistry or a closely related field like biochemistry, material science, chemistry education or food science.
